Michael Douglas is hitting the red carpet with his kids!
The 79-year-old Oscar-winning attended a screening of the new documentary America’s Burning with daughter Carys, 21, and son Dylan, 23, on Wednesday (July 10) held at the DGA Theater in New York City.
Here’s the synopsis for new documentary, which Michael narrated: “For 40 years, the US economy has been a paradox. It’s been an extraordinary wealth-creating machine, but only for the half of the country that owns stocks. Capitalism has, as James Carville put it, become “a racket” — the ultimate corporate insider’s club, a system centrally controlled by the well-connected few. As a result, the middle class is shrinking and the American Dream’s promise of social mobility for all who work hard is dying. A new Velvet Rope Society of brains and money has cut itself off from the rest of America. Working families feel forgotten and angry, but it doesn’t have to be this way. America has an impressive history of resilience.”
America’s Burning will be released on Friday, July 12.
If you didn’t know, Michael shares Carys and Dylan with wife Catherine Zeta-Jones. He’s also dad to son Cameron, 45, whom he shares with ex-wife Diandra Luker.
Earlier this week, Michael and Catherine, 54, were seen enjoying some time together in London.
In a recent interview, Michael recalled the time he was mistaken for Dylan and Carys‘ grandfather!
