Nearly nine months ago, Hillary Clinton was first asked to release the transcripts of her paid speeches to Wall Street firms, for which she received $225,000 a pop. Speculation abounded about just what she said at the closed-door events. “Now if you give a speech for $225,000, it must be a pretty damn good speech,” Bernie Sanders remarked back in April. “And that is why I believe Secretary Clinton should share that speech with all of us.”

In 1998, House Republicans impeached Bill Clinton for having sex in the White House—specifically, for lying under oath. One of the people who later voted to remove Clinton from office was Republican Charles Grassley, a U.S. senator from Iowa since 1981.

The Obama administration is considering a plan to further arm the Kurds—whom many in Washington call “our most effective partner on the ground” in Syria—in order to incentivize Kurdish participation in an upcoming offensive against ISIS in Raqqa. Two weeks ago, the Chicago Tribune published an editorial endorsing this plan—the headline proclaimed this as “Step One” for “Fixing Syria.” And in presidential debates, including last night’s, Hillary Clinton has advocated a similar plan.
