October 3 – Bundesliga club St. Pauli has unveiled plans to sell shares to a fans cooperative to raise up to €30 million for the purchase of a controlling stake in their stadium, the Millerntor, valued at an estimated €60 million.
The club, dubbed ‘German Football’s Cult Club’ by the Bundesliga themselves, do not accept commercial income from gambling or cryptocurrency firms, among other industries, and that has helped preserve their identity, but at the cost of revenue,
