Carlisle United’s interim manager Steven Rudd has warned Bradford City that his team will visit Valley Parade at the weekend with all guns blazing.
Bradford picked up one point against Newcastle United Under-21s on Tuesday in their EFL Trophy game and next they will face Carlisle on Saturday at home in a league fixture.
Carlisle, who have lost their last three games, are targeting their game against Bradford to bounce back to winning ways.
Cumbrians interim boss Rudd believes that there is no better place than Valley Parade to start winning games and issued a warning for Bradford that they will come with all their might to secure three points.
Rudd also pointed out that Carlisle will bring massive away support with them to Bradford’s home turf on Saturday and added that they are looking to end their week with a positive note at the weekend.
“This club needs to start winning matches and what better place to do it, at Bradford away, with a massive following”, Rudd told Carlisle United’s official site.
“We’ll go there all guns blazing, ready to go.
“That would top off a not good first week, but that would end the week really well for us, I think.”
The Bantams have not lost a game at Valley Parade against Carlisle since 2020 and they will be hoping to keep their record intact at the weekend.
