Napoli’s interest in Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay is dependent on the Serie A giants moving on a few players.
McTominay’s future at Manchester United has continued to remain under the scanner despite Fulham ending their interest in him.
He is attracting interest from Fenerbahce and Galatasaray but the midfielder is not keen on a move to Turkey.
Napoli are his preferred option and the Serie A giants have held talks with Manchester United and the player’s representatives over a potential deal.
They remain keen on signing the midfielder but according to Sky Italia, a move for him is dependent on player sales before next week’s transfer deadline.
Manchester United are not interested in loaning McTominay out and will only be open to selling the midfielder this summer.
Napoli do not have the budget at the moment to meet Manchester United’s €30m asking price.
Player exits could free up more funds to pursue the signature of the Manchester United star in the coming days.
