Swansea City are unlikely to dive into the Korean market at present, as the Swans ‘priorities lie elsewhere’, according to Korean journalist Jason Lee.
The Welsh side are preparing for a new campaign in the Championship following a disappointing season last term.
Swansea, who finished in 14th and a long way from the playoff spots, are still waiting to get going in the summer transfer window.
They have been linked with two Korean players in the shape of Gangwon defender Lee Gi-hyuk and Celtic striker Oh Hyeon-gyu.
Both links though are wide of the mark.
Swansea are not expected to dive into the Korean market ‘unless things change drastically’ in the coming days and weeks.
It is suggested that the Swans’ ‘priorities lie elsewhere’ at the moment.
The Championship side are trying to land St Johnstone attacker Adama Sidibeh at present.
They were keen to sign Jamal Lowe, but were priced out of a deal and he has joined Sheffield Wednesday.
