The central government will implement an online system to detect older diesel and petrol vehicles on Delhi roads by Diwali. Utilizing FASTag data and the Vahan database, authorities will identify and e-challan vehicles without valid fitness and pollution certificates. Initially, this will target vehicles at Delhi’s 52 entry points and may expand nationwide.
