The Punjab and Haryana High Court quashed the charges against a retired DHBVN executive engineer, DS Hooda. The court upheld a lower court's 2014 ruling, ordering the discom to pay the increments it had halted. Hooda was accused in 2005 of restoring power with partial payments. The High Court found no illegality in the district court's judgment.
