Manuj Kathuria was arrested after his SUV allegedly caused water displacement that led to the drowning of three IAS aspirants at a flooded coaching center in Old Rajinder Nagar. His wife, Shima, argued that Manuj was unaware of the incident and attributed the gate's collapse to prior weakening from frequent waterlogging.
