The winds kicked up after three P.M. this afternoon, the wind addicted crowd were rolling into the Britannia parking lot by three forty-five. After a very snowy night and day, the river was covered in a pile of fresh snow. Great time to make some new images as the kiter’s launched over the snow and […]
Fresh snow, lets go! Skiing at Camp Fortune on the Meech chairlift.

Some new snow in Ottawa provided a bright white carpet on the frozen Ottawa river. The wind addicted crowd were out enjoying the fresh conditions and decent wind. I dropped by to capture some of the action, sadly the winds were dying when I arrived but still managed to grab some new images.
Great evening fat bike ride on Old Quarry trail with Ann-Marie, cold but super fun. Had the whole trail system to ourselves.
Phil smashing his way through the deep snow along the rock pier at Britannia during this another late day kite session.
Another shoot session at Britannia this evening, added a flash into the mix to grab some new shots. So happy that Stanley, Phil and Mike were up for modelling! A couple close calls as photographer and kiter got up and very close. A fantastic evening making images with these talented guys.

Stanley was riding a small 4 meter kite that was propelling at tremendous speed across the ice and snow. […]
The usual suspects were out on the river enjoying the wind and a slight dusting of fresh snow. Phil was the only one getting any airtime, landings are not he best right now if you don’t know what you are doing.
