GolfNorth is thrilled to announce that effective February 1, 2024, it has entered into a long-term lease with the City of Oshawa, for the operation of Oshawa Airport Golf Club. Located on Thornton Road, this family friendly golf course has been a local favourite for generations.
Oshawa Airport Golf Club is an 18-hole executive course with a difference. Nestled among its seven par fours, are some of the most challenging par threes in Ontario—even to the scratch golfer. Taking full advantage of the valley and stream, Oshawa Airport Golf Club has a well-deserved reputation for its excellent conditioning—particularly the undulating greens, which are considered to be some of the best in the area. Elevation changes are encountered frequently throughout the property, and the many trees, numerous sand traps, and water—provide a good variety of hazards which will make for an interesting round of golf where golfers use every club in their bag.
The friendly clubhouse offers good food, cold drinks, and local hospitality. The recently renovated facility has quickly become a favourite place for guests to host events, from tournaments, to corporate outings, or just a place for a pleasant bite with friends or family after a round.
Location, challenging holes, and a friendly atmosphere have made Oshawa Airport Golf Club a preferred golf destination for decades. GolfNorth will continue to operate Oshawa Airport Golf Club as a semi-private course, offering both memberships and daily green fees.
