The 2025 NHL Winter Classic went back to Chicago to ring in the new year and the views were absolutely stunning.
On Tuesday, Wrigley Field hosted the 16th iteration of the NHL Winter Classic — played on New Year’s Eve for the first time in the event’s history — between the Chicago Blackhawks and the St. Louis Blues. Fans in Chicago got to see Connor Bedard outdoors for the first time in his career while Wrigley Field became the second stadium to host the event twice, coming in after Fenway Park’s recent turn as host in 2023.
The rain/snow mix ahead of puck drop didn’t make for the best of conditions, but the atmosphere remained electric throughout the day. With events underway in Chicago, here are the best photos of the gorgeous 2025 NHL Winter Classic at Wrigley Field.
