Wow. The Atlanta Falcons continue to catch heat for a Super Bowl game they played over seven years ago — the one they lost to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, in case you need a reminder — and from unlikely sources, too.
This time it was a 28-3 reference made by a reporter on the Weather Channel on Wednesday as he talked about Hurricane Milton in Tampa.
“We definitely enjoyed the little halftime show that Mother Nature gave us inside Milton, but now, we got the second half.” he said. “I gotta remind everyone that you might still be in the eye right now. There’s a lot more to go. I think back to the Atlanta Falcons’ first half Super Bowl winner. We know what happened in the second half. The Patriots came back to life, so do not sleep on the second half of Milton.”
Ouch.
