Maxx Crosby has built himself into an NFL star based on two things he does at an absolutely elite level.
The first is as a pass rusher. The former fourth round pick is a bonafide stud and foundational piece of the Las Vegas Raiders defense. He has 32 sacks in his last 38 games and is a multiple time All-Pro who earns defensive player of the year votes on a perennial basis.
He’s not just terrifying in motion, however. He’s also one of the league’s loudest and funniest trash talkers. In the past that’s manifested in calling former opponent and current teammate Gardner Minshew II a “little [expletive] boy” in 2023. On Sunday, it meant getting out of his stance to scream at rookie Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix to tell him no one could hear his audible.

“Bo! Speak up,” screamed Crosby as the Nix tried to change the play at the line of scrimmage. “They don’t [expletive] know!”
Crosby had two sacks, two quarterback hits and two tackles for loss in Week 5, giving him the chance to get to know Nix better. But Nix got the last laugh, throwing for 206 yards and a pair of touchdowns in a 34-18 win.
