Canali Giovana scored a pair of goals in the loss including a 68th-minute equalizer, but it wasn’t enough to salvage any points as Cal’s Malia McMahon put in the game winner in the 77th minute.
Virginia Tech is coming off of a big 5-1 victory against Louisville. Taylor Price scored three goals in the win, including two in the first half. Anna Weir and Natalie Mitchell each adde a goal in the second half of the match.
