The North Carolina State Wolfpack opens up its 2024 campaign at home against the Western Carolina Catamounts on Thursday in an early Week 1 matchup.
The Wolfpack are coming off a strong 9-4 finish in 2023, putting together a tidy 6-2 mark against Atlantic Coast Conference foes. However, NC State finish on a down note, dropping their game against the Kansas State Wildcats in the Pop-Tarts Bowl.
The Cats recorded a 7-4 overall tally last fall while going 5-3 in Southern Conference play. The FCS program is ranked 20th in the preseason Stats Perform FCS Top 25 ahead of this year’s opening kickoff.
