Team USA women’s gymnastics superstar Simone Biles clarified the actual nickname for the 2024 Paris Olympics squad after revealing a delightfully NSFW nickname on Tuesday.
After Biles called the 2024 American women’s gymnastics roster the “[Expletive] around and find out” squad, Biles shared on Twitter (X) that the team is actually known as the “Golden Girls” because of their collective age and experience.
While the NSFW version is much funnier, the “Golden Girls” is perfectly wholesome, particularly the “Golden” part after the team brought home the gold during Tuesday’s artistic gymnastics women’s team final.
We hope to see some of this “Golden” gymnastics team back in Olympic competition once the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games roll around after its outstanding performance in Paris this week.
