Trent Alexander-Arnold has signed…a childhood photo of himself in England training.
We hope to soon have the opportunity to type those first four words again and follow it with ‘a new long-term contract at Liverpool FC’, but for now a picture of his 11-year-old self (or so he recalls) will have to suffice.

The official Instagram channel of the England football team has posted a video featuring a few of the Three Lions players being asked to sign photos of themselves as kids, and the Reds’ vice-captain couldn’t quite believe the one which was shown to him.
Upon seeing his childhood photo, Trent’s initial response was ‘That’s me?’, before his memory kicked into gear and he recognised it from when he was around 11 years old.
He readily signed the photograph in question. Now all we need is for him to show a similar readiness to pen a new contract at Liverpool. Pretty please!
