A tragic stampede occurred at Tirupati temple during ticket sales for Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam. Six devotees lost their lives and around 40 were injured as the crowd surged when the gates were suddenly opened. Many devotees complained about long waiting hours and lack of proper crowd management, leading to the disaster.
