Three people have been detained in connection with the murder of 33-year-old freelance journalist Mukesh Chandrakar, whose body was found in a contractor's septic tank in Chhattisgarh. Mukesh had played a key role in a 2021 hostage release and was investigating construction irregularities before his death. Journalists are demanding severe action against those involved.
