Mingma G Sherpa is the first Nepali mountaineer to climb all 14 peaks above 8,000 metres without using supplemental oxygen. He was honoured by the Nepalese government for his achievement. Mingma first climbed Everest in 2007 and completed his mission by scaling Shishapangma in October 2024. He has climbed Mt Everest six times and owns a mountaineering agency, Imagine Nepal.
