The Railway Board has revised the educational qualification criteria for Level-1 posts, allowing candidates with a Class-10 pass, ITI diploma, or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) to apply. Previously, both Class-10 and an NAC or ITI diploma were required for technical departments. An upcoming recruitment will fill approximately 32,000 Level-1 positions.
