ISRO's first satellite docking experiment (SpaDeX), which is is expected to take place on January 7, will be a stepping stone to setting up the Bhartiya Antariksh Station and subsequent missions to it, said Jitendra Singh, Science and Technology Minister. He also added that space agency is set to launch the NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar (NISAR) satellite which is supposed to be the most expensive satellite of its kind.
