China has unveiled its updated CR450 high-speed bullet train, which its manufacturer claims reached speeds of 450 kmph during test runs, setting a new international benchmark. With this new model, travel time is expected to decrease and connectivity improve. The current CR400 Fuxing operates at 350 kmph. Despite its rapid expansion, profitability is mainly seen in the Beijing-Shanghai route.
