BJP has accused Congress and Rahul Gandhi of politicizing the funeral of ex-Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra claims that the government has shown proper respect to Singh by planning a memorial, despite immediate cremation. He also noted that Congress has previously disrespected leaders such as PV Narasimha Rao and Pranab Mukherjee.
