Greg Gumbel, a pioneering CBS sportscaster known for breaking barriers and calling major events, has died from cancer. Over a 50-year career, he made history as the first Black announcer to call a Super Bowl. He worked with CBS, NBC, and ESPN, and was involved in numerous charitable activities.
