Northeast Frontier Railway has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with IRCON International Limited for maintaining electrification infrastructure. This includes Overhead Equipment (OHE) and Power Supply Installation (PSI) in the Lumding and Tinsukia divisions. Electrification in these divisions is progressing rapidly, and the MoU will help with scheduled maintenance and breakdown attention until June 2025.
