Hong Kong announced bounties on six overseas democracy activists, which the US sees as transnational repression. The activists, accused of national security crimes, are offered bounties of HK$1 million for arrest information. The US condemned these warrants, seeing them as a threat to US sovereignty and human rights. Hong Kong plans to cancel their passports.
