Uttarakhand is launching a 15-day special campaign from October 4 to register pregnant women in the unorganized sector, including construction workers and domestic servants, under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana. The aim is 100 percent coverage and ensuring necessary health facilities, such as three ANCs and ESI coverage, to improve maternal and child health outcomes.
