Iraq and the United States have agreed on a phased pullout of US-led coalition forces, with withdrawals from Baghdad and other parts of Iraq by September 2025, and from northern Kurdistan by September 2026. The agreement is expected to be signed soon, despite recent violence targeting coalition forces.
