NASA is tracking asteroid 2020 RL, which will make a close approach to Earth on August 26, 2024. The 110-foot-wide asteroid will pass within 4.68 million kilometers of Earth. Although there is no risk of impact, NASA will use the event to study the asteroid's properties and trajectory.
