Orya Maqbool Jan, a political commentator and YouTuber, has been arrested in Punjab for allegedly inciting religious hatred and defaming institutions, particularly the military. His arrest follows the abduction of another YouTuber critical of the Shehbaz Sharif government. Jan had previously been detained for criticizing the military's role in politics.
