Three Bangladeshi nationals were apprehended by Assam Police after illegally entering India, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced on Tuesday. The individuals, hailing from Bangladesh's Rajshahi district, were caught while attempting to cross into Assam from Tripura, with plans to travel to Chennai for work. One of the men was found with an Aadhaar card and had previously entered India. All three were handed back to Bangladeshi authorities. Additionally, a Bangladeshi woman was detained in Dhubri and similarly repatriated after crossing the border illegally.
