Japanese Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa is visiting New Delhi to engage in the third India-Japan '2+2' dialogue with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral strategic ties and reviewing the Indo-Pacific situation due to China's increased military activities. The participants also held separate bilateral talks on regional and global mutual interests. The visit aimed to deepen defence cooperation and reinforce the special strategic and global partnership between India and Japan, which is built on shared values of democracy and rule of law.
