The Union health ministry and National Medical Commission (NMC) are preparing to transition the NEET-Undergraduate (NEET-UG) exam from a pen-and-paper Optical Mark Reader (OMR) format to a computer-based test (CBT). This shift is aimed at enhancing exam security and efficiency, following concerns over leaks and manipulations in previous exams.
