The Ambani-Merchant wedding, which began in Jamnagar, Italy, and will conclude in Mumbai, has garnered global attention, but the Ambani family is only spending 0.5 per cent of their net worth on the wedding, according to an analysis by NC Financial Advisory Services' founder Nitin Chaudhary. An Indian with a net worth of Rs 50 lakh to Rs 1 crore would easily spend Rs 10-15 lakh on their child's wedding, and for a person with a net worth of up to Rs 10 crore, the spending might be up to Rs 1.5 crore.
