Dezeen Showroom: Spanish brand Realonda has created a range of tiles that bring character to walls by evoking the appearance of long, thin bricks.
The Amsterdam tile collection is made from porcelain and is modelled after a type of brick that is thinner and longer than traditional facade bricks.
Each tile measures 15 by 45 centimetres and, according to Realonda, they bring a vintage charm to projects while still fitting in with urban and contemporary styles.
The Amsterdam tile collection is available in a range of seven colours ranging from white to greys and browns.
The colours all exhibit natural-looking variations in appearance, with two of the styles – Vintage and Old – making a feature out of the diversity of hues.
Amsterdam tiles are suitable for installation on feature walls and areas around fireplaces and barbecues.
