England Cricket Board (ECB) has announced the official fixtures for the 2025 summer international. The schedule for India’s five-match Test series has also been released with this. Indian team will tour England in the June of next year. The last time these two teams had locked on against each other was earlier this year where England was defeated by 4-1 and it was a 2-2 draw when India last played a Test series on English pitch.
Now the next upcoming series between the two opponents will be the part of the next World Test Championship (WTC) cycle 2025-27, and will be held just a few days after the expected Final date of WTC 2025.
The first Test is scheduled for June 20-24. There will then be an 8 day gap before the second Test, starting from July 2. The third test will then be played after a break of four days. There will be a long nine-day break between the third and fourth Tests, followed by gap of only four days and then the final Test of the series.
The whole series is to be played across the duration of 45 days.
