After triumphing in the T20I series against Sri Lanka without losing a single game, India will be looking to continue their winning form in the one-day series against the Lankan Lions. With star players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli returning for the ODI series, the Men in Blue will be looking as strong as ever.
However, rain can play a role in the match just like how it did during the second and third T20I at the Pallekele International Stadium. All the matches of the ODI series will be played at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
There is a possibility that the match will get interrupted as thunderstorms and rains are predicted in the evening at Colombo.
India and Sri Lanka have played 168 ODI matches against each other and India have come out on top on 99 occasions while Sri Lanka have won 57. 11 matches did not produce any results.
The stadium in Colombo provides quite a lot of help for the spinners, but the pacers are expected to dominate in the early part of the innings.
