The Hoogeveen Chess 2024 tournament is taking place from October 26 to November 2 in Hoogeveen, Netherlands. The Kroongroep or Crown Group portion of the Hoogeveen has 4 participants who are playing in multiple round robins – GMs Mariya Muzychuk, Alexandra Kosteniuk, Eline Roebers and Machteld Van Foreest.
The largest section of Hoogeveen 2024 is Hoogeveen Open with GMs Murali Karthikeyan, Surya Shekhar Ganguly, Mittal Aditya, Gupta Sankalp, Sabino Brunellom, Sipke Ernst, and a total of 70 participants
There are two more sections of the festival – Hoogeveen Ochtend and Hoogeveen Middag.
