The 24th European Women’s Chess Championship will take place from 30 March to 12 April 2025 in Rhodes, Greece.
The event is open to all women players representing national federations listed as ECU members, without rating or title limitations. The Championship will be played in 11 rounds, swiss system, with time control of 90 minutes for 40 moves, plus 30 minutes until the end of the game, with 30-second increment for each move starting from move one. The official hotel and the playing venue of the event is *****Rodos Palace Conference Hotel.

The 24th European Women’s Championship is a qualification event for the FIDE Women’s World Cup. According to the decision of the ECU at least 10 players will qualify*.
*Under the current FIDE Women’s World Cup regulations, FIDE is the only body responsible for rules
of FIDE Women’s World Cup the qualification spots.
The total prize fund of the Championship is 60.000 EUR, with 10.000 EUR reserved for the Winner of the event.
The deadline for registrations and bookings is 14 February 2025.
