Leeds United have had an eventful summer at the club.
After they failed to win promotion to the Premier League, a number of players left the club including Archie Gray, Crysencio Summerville and Glen Kamara.
To rebuild his squad, Daniel Farke made eight signings this summer but just after the transfer window closed, the Whites have agreed a deal to sign another player.
According to journalist Alan Nixon, as reported by Inside Futbol, Leeds United have agreed a pre-contract agreement with 16-year-old defender Leonard Ngenge.
Leeds United could have done better in the transfer market this summer to improve the level of the attack and to add stability to the defense.
With the club having to sell players to deal with their financial issues, they have still acted smartly in the transfer window.
Ngenge has impressed on his trial at Elland Road but the player cannot sign a contract until he turns 18.
The left-back has earned himself a contract at Leeds United and once he signs the contract, he is expected to join the club’s youth team.
Farke’s men have started the season well, with the Whites sitting in fourth position in the Championship standings at the moment.
The fans will be hoping to see another shot at Premier League promotion after missing out on it narrowly last season.
