Could Erik ten Hag already be in serious trouble at Manchester United after consecutive Premier League defeats to Brighton and Liverpool?
Man Utd notably searched for a new manager during the summer before eventually deciding to stick with Ten Hag, even if the Dutch tactician hasn’t done the most convincing job so far at Old Trafford.
It seems Ten Hag’s poor start to the new season has already convinced some of the betting markets that he won’t be at the club much longer, with Ladbrokes quickly slashing their odds on him being the first Premier League manager to lose his job this season.
Ten Hag was 7/1 to be the first manager sacking of the 2024/25 campaign before the 3-0 defeat at home to Liverpool, but he’s now down to just 2/1.
That now means the former Ajax boss is ranked ahead of the likes of Everton’s Sean Dyche and Leicester City’s Steve Cooper in the sack race…
