Before signing Mazraoui, Man United were waiting for Aaron Wan-Bissaka to make progress in his potential move to West Ham United.
With the player now giving his approval to a move to the Hammers, United can replace him by signing the Bayern Munich full back.
Mazraoui is set to become another former player that Erik ten Hag has brought to Old Trafford since joining the club.
The Dutch manager has signed Lisandro Martinez, Antony and Sofyan Amrabat during his spell at Man United, all the players he has managed before.
He is now set to complete a move for Mazraoui as he feels the team needs an attacking full-back who can also provide support to the attackers.
