The latest 13-inch MacBook Air (16GB RAM, 512GB) that runs on the M3 chip is matching its lowest-ever price ($1,249) from earlier in the year. The 15-inch model of the 2024 MacBook Air (8GB RAM, 256GB) is also discounted to $1,044 (20% off), which matches the best price we've seen.

The 13-inch MacBook Air running on the M2 processor is down to $749 (25% off) from its launch price of $999. It's an older model, but it's more than enough for most people to browse the web and run popular apps seamlessly. For those with greater performance demands, the 14.2-inch MacBook Pro running on the M3 processor is 19% off.
Choosing the right MacBook will depend on your budget and specific priorities when it comes to portability, battery life, and features.
From a portability standpoint, Apple's MacBook Air models are lighter and thinner than MacBook Pro laptops at comparable display sizes. The MacBook Air, whatever size you prefer, is perfectly suited for the vast majority of people's needs. With that said, we'd recommend those who run several apps simultaneously or use a web browser heavily with over 25 open tabs to opt for the 16GB model. The base model comes with 8GB, which is low by today's standards.
Conversely, MacBook Pro models tend to have longer battery life and higher performance than comparably sized MacBook Air models, but they're heavier and larger. These are expensive MacBooks, and while anyone can enjoy their power and features, they're best suited for those with intensely heavy workloads, especially those doing visual-based work.
