Labor Day officially arrives this coming Monday, September 2. More than just an occasion to hit the pool with family and celebrate the unofficial end of summer, it's also a great time to save. Amazon's huge Labor Day sale has almost everything you could think of discounted, from lip plumpers to smart TVs.
If you're a Prime member, shopping from Amazon is a no-brainer. With free two-day shipping and other sweet benefits, the retailer stands out from the rest this Labor Day. Some of the best deals I'm seeing now include one of our top mattress picks, the Nectar Memory Foam Mattress, at 28% off. Book lovers can also save on the most affordable e-reader of Amazon's lineup, the Kindle, bringing it down to only $85 in the first deal we've seen in months.
This sale is a great chance to shop for gifts and back-to-school essentials if you need them but keep in mind that the prices aren't as great as they were during Prime Day last month. If you can wait until the confirmed Prime Big Deal Days scheduled for this October, those deals might be better than the ones we're seeing now, too.
