As one of the area's largest music festivals, Outside Lands brings a mix of San Francisco culture infused with three days of music, art, and food. Now in its 16th year, the 2024 Outside Lands continues its multi-genre reputation from August 9 to 11 with headliners like "Espresso" singer Sabrina Carpenter, alternative rock band The Killers, country singer-songwriter Sturgill Simpson, and hip hop-country artist Post Malone.
The 2024 Outside Lands music festival features a long list of artists performing across multiple stages in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. Organized by Another Planet Entertainment and Superfly, the event is known for bringing both established and up-and-coming artists to the stage, a list which this year includes The Postal Service, Grace Jones, Kaytranada, Jungle, Chappell Roan, Tyla, Slowdive, Idris Elba, The Last Dinner Party, Victoria Monét, and more.
But along with the list of performers, the event is known for merging music with San Francisco culture, including art, food and drinks. Grass Lands, the first curated cannabis celebration from a major music festival in the US, is set to return. Among the event's multiple areas, fans will also find an open-air dance at the SOMA stage and an inclusive celebration of LGBTQ+ spaces at the Dolores' stage.
Here's what fans need to know about how to buy 2024 Outside Lands tickets, from original tickets to verified retailers, including StubHub and VividSeats.
Outside Lands is a three-day event in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. The 2024 event is slated for Aug. 9-11. In addition to general admission tickets, VIP and Golden Gate Club tickets are also available. Festivities start each day starting at noon Pacific time, but specific acts and stages have varying set times.

Festival goers can visit Outside Lands with either a single-day ticket or a three-day pass.
Some original tickets for the Outside Lands 2024 are still available through the festival's website and Front Gate Tickets. Third-party resellers, including StubHub and Vivid Seats, also have limited tickets available. New users to VividSeats can get $20 off their first order of $200 or more with the promo code INSIDER20.
The front gates open at 11 a.m. daily, with music from noon to 10 p.m.
Parking is unavailable at the festival location and is limited in the surrounding areas. The festival organizers recommend public transportation, walking, biking, or a local shuttle. Shuttle tickets are available from the festival's website.
As an outdoor festival at a park that's 3.5 miles wide, guests should also plan to dress for the weather and venue, including comfortable shoes.
General admission tickets start at $528.15 for a three-day pass or $226.20 for a single-day pass, including fees. As of writing, original tickets are still available, but third-party resellers, including StubHub and VividSeats, also have tickets listed. Original tickets tend to offer the better price, though prices can occasionally dip lower from third-party sellers.
Along with general admission tickets, the festival has three different ticket options that add extra perks. General Admission+, $349.80 single-day or $784.90 three-day, upgrades the experience with expedited entry, a GA+ lounge with flush toilets, water bottle refill stations, and complimentary soft drinks.
VIP ticket holders gain access to an exclusive VIP entry gate and dedicated VIP viewing areas. The VIP tickets also include access to a VIP lounge with exclusive food vendors, plus upgraded bars and bathrooms. VIP tickets sell for $515.75 a single day or $1,160.05 for a three-day pass.
The priciest ticket package, the Golden Gate Club, features a dedicated viewing area in front of the three main stages, a dedicated entrance, complimentary food and drinks, and a golf cart service between stages. Original tickets for the Golden Gate Club are listed at $2,366.70 for a single day and $5,304.65 for three-day passes.
Purchasing a shuttle ticket ahead of time can also save fans hassle on the day of the festival, with a single-day shuttle for $29.50 or a three-day for $44.50.
