When we were introduced to Lucas Bravo as Gabriel in Emily in Paris, the world couldn't stop crushing over him. As a hot chef in Paris, he not only stole Emily's (Lily Collins) heart but also hearts. So far, there have been four seasons of the show and we still don't know if Emily and Gabriel are going to end up together. With every season, the complications are only growing in their love story.
After the fourth season, makers confirmed Emily in Paris Season 5. However, Lucas is not sure if he will return for the next season. Furthermore, the actor discussed in detail how he doesn't feel connected to his character anymore. While talking to Indie Wire, Lucas said that the'sexy chef' was a very much part of him in Season 1, but they grew apart season after season because of the choices his character makes and the direction the creators make him take. Bravo feels that he has never been so far away from him.
Further in this entertainment news, Lucas Bravo said that the dynamics with his character changed when the makers made him unaware of his surroundings. He is a fan of the way his character is always victimising and being completely lost in translation and oblivious to anything that's happening around it. He didn't find it fun to play when he realised everyone was manipulating Gabriel. The actor said, "I really grew apart from him."
About his uncertainty about Emily in Paris Season 5, Lucas said, "It makes me question if I want to be part of Season 5 because my contract ends in Season 4. I really want to see if Gabriel gets back to his fun, cheeky, playful, alive self. Because three seasons playing melancholic, sad, depressed, and lost is not fun anymore. It's a comedy; everybody is having fun around me; everybody is jumping around; and I'm just slowly sinking into god knows what."
