Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh aka Osho was founded in the 1970. It was for the Western people who wanted to take up the spiritual path. Shree Rajneesh was a philosophy lecturer before founding his spiritual movement in Pune. He believed in unrestricted promiscuity, including partner-swapping, from age 14. He was given the title "Sex Guru" in India because of his different methods of meditation and thoughts on sexual freedom. He owns luxury cars in the USA and hence is called Rolls-Royce Guru there. However, a woman in the UK recently made shocking revelations against him.
A 54-year-old woman in UK spoke about her horrific experience who was being raised in the sex cult of Indian mystic Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, aka Osho when she was a minor. She was allegedly forced to undergo sexual abuse in the name of free love. She spoke about the same in an interview with The Times. The lady's name is Prem Sargam and she spoke about the rampant sexual abuse which began when she was six in the ashram she grew up in.
Sargam revealed that her father left her and her mother and joint the cult's ashram in Pune. He sought spiritual enlightenment as a sannyasin and hence left. She was also then taken into the cult's ashram and was asked to change her name and wear orange clothes.
She was forced to believe in the philosophy that said children are obstacles to parental sexual freedom. Osho's movement believed that children should regularly watch sex and when girls reach pubic age, they should be guided by adult men on their sexual journeys. She said that the philosophy normalised paedophilia within the cult.
She revealed that she was allegedly engaged in sexual activities at the age of 7 and later it reached to rape at the age of 12. She recalled how she felt the confusion and unease she felt as a child. Between the age of 7 and 11, her friends were forced to have sex with grown men.
She further added that the exploitation continued after she was sent to the Medina ashram in Suffolk and she was told she is attending a boarding school types. When she was 12, she was sent to the US with her mother at an ashram in Oregon. Sargam revealed that by that time she was raped around 50 times. When she was 16, she understood what was happening.
