Sidharth Shukla, who became a heartthrob with his roles in popular TV shows like Balika Vadhu and Dil Se Dil Tak, gained even more fame after winning Bigg Boss 13. He also appeared in the film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. However, his rising career was cut short by his untimely death due to a heart attack on September 2, 2021, leaving his family, friends, and fans shattered. Comedian Bharti Singh recently shared her final encounter with Sidharth, which happened just a week before his tragic death.
As reported by News18, Bharti Singh recalled how Sidharth Shukla had introduced her to his mother at Lokhandwala, where the two women had a brief, pleasant conversation. The comedian stated that when she met Shukla, she was a few weeks pregnant but decided not to share the news with him as she felt it wasn't the right moment. When she heard about his sudden passing, she was shocked and deeply saddened, and it left her feeling breathless and heartbroken. However, Bharti's doctors advised her to avoid stress and not to attend his funeral due to her pregnancy.
Further in this entertainment news, Bharti Singh also fondly remembered her time working with Sidharth Shukla, especially on the sets of India's Got Talent. Singh shared the actor always found ways to make her laugh, even when she tried to be angry with him. "Ugh, despite her attempts to stay mad at him. "Sidharth ne mujhe IGT mein bada tangg kiya. Bada tangg karta tha. He would go into his van and not come out, while I would be waiting for him. I used to think, 'When he comes out, I'll show him I'm upset,' but he would always manage to make me laugh."
In addition to Bharti, her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa also shared memories of Sidharth, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Haarsh talked about their show Hum Tum Aur Quarantine and how Sidharth graciously participated in a special edition via video chat. Despite technical difficulties in uploading the video, Sidharth personally drove to their building to deliver the footage, showcasing his kindness and dedication.
Haarsh revealed, "The video was large, and it couldn't be transferred online. Sidharth, being the generous person he was, drove down to our building just to hand over the video."
Sidharth Shukla's popularity soared when he won Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 13 in 2020, which garnered him even more admiration and a growing fan base. His final acting role was in Ekta Kapoor's Broken But Beautiful Season 3, where he left a lasting impression on his fans.
